Horror text effect
Scary letters: bright red fading to near-black red, a black edge and a red glow, like something lit from below. Type your title.

What makes the horror look work
Horror text darkens towards the bottom, the opposite of how light normally falls, which feels wrong in a useful way. The red glow on a dark thumbnail does the rest.
It fits horror games, scary stories, true crime and 'staying overnight' videos.
Tips
- A rough font (Permanent Marker) feels scratched; a heavy one (Bowlby One, Anton) feels like a movie poster.
- Keep the background dark, and keep the title short: two or three words feel tense.
