Short version: ThumbFont has no accounts and no cookies, counts visits without tracking you, and your text never leaves your device.
Your text and images
The previews and PNG downloads are made by your browser. The text you type, and any photo you add as a preview background, are never sent to us or anyone else.
Share links
The page address includes your text and style, so you can share your preview. If you share or bookmark that link, the text goes wherever the link goes. Nothing is stored on our side.
Saved in your browser
If you use “Save as my style” or star fonts, they're kept in your browser's local storage on this device, so the generator remembers them next time. They're never sent to us. “Forget it” and unstarring remove them, and so does clearing this site's data in your browser. This isn't a cookie and isn't used for tracking.
To work offline, your browser also keeps a copy of the pages you've opened and the fonts you've previewed. That copy stays on your device; clearing this site's data removes it.
Sharing to other apps
The Share button hands the thumbnail and its link to the app you pick in your phone's share menu, such as WhatsApp. It goes from your device straight to that app, under that app's own privacy policy.
What our host sees
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and basic request details to deliver pages and protect against abuse, under its own privacy policy. We don't receive or keep these logs for tracking.
Visit counts
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are popular. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't store anything on your device, and doesn't follow you across sites or build a profile of you. It never sees the text you type.
Fonts
All fonts are served from this site. We don't load anything from Google Fonts or other font services.
