Check ळ before you choose
Type a word with ळ, like बाळ or वेळ, before you settle on a font. Every font on this page has it, but if you use another font elsewhere, that's the letter most likely to be missing.
Keep it to two lines
Marathi words are often long, and Devanagari needs room above and below for matras. Two short lines read better on a phone than one long line, so try the Split into 2 lines button when a font says it's too small.
